Hanukkah in the Foothills!
Hanukkah in the Foothills

The 2nd Annual Hanukkah in the Foothills event will be held at McGroarty Arts Center on December 19, from 6:30-8:30pm.

It will be a FREE cultural, educational, event open to everyone in our community from all faiths.  Along with an entertaining and informative presentation about Hanukkah, music, and a taste of traditional foods, there will be a gift for every child to attends this family-friendly event.
Hanukkah in the Foothills is presented by members of the Sunland-Tujunga Arts, Recreation, and Culture Committee (STARC) of the STNC.  Lucy Levinsohn and Joe DeCenzo are spearheading this special community event that last year drew an overflow crowd to the Backdoor Bakery.  The shortage of space at the Backdoor Bakery led them to seek a bigger venue for 2017, and McGroarty Arts Center graciously opened its doors to hosting it. The Rotary Club, local businesses, and several service organizations are providing vital support in making this year's event a stellar Festival of Lights.

Date:  December 19 (Tuesday night)
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
